  • Everyone’s journey is different…

There are no two journeys that are the same. No matter how similar your circumstances are, no two paths are exactly alike. Influenced by life experiences, backgrounds and upbringings, and decisions made alone can cause your situation to be inherently different. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s, run your own race and forge your own path. You were given this life because you are uniquely you.

  • Ride the waves!

Ride the waves of uncertainty and change. The only thing certain in life is that there will be changes. Changes in something as simple as the weather and as drastic as divorce, death, or job loss. If we can learn to “ride the waves” during those uncertain times, we can grow from those moments when the tides rise over our heads. Use the moments when the low tides come in to catch your breath. Take each wave as it comes to you and go with it. Don’t let it engulf you or push you to the floor of the ocean. Rise above your circumstances and ride the waves!

  • Keeping Your Glass Half Full

Do you ever find yourself in the company of other people that are never satisfied or they complain about everything. Those people are “Glass Half Empty” kind of people. Nothing is ever good enough and their attitude tends to be more negative than positive. Don’t let those “Negative Nancy’s ” get you down. You have the innate ability inside of you to make a choice to see things with “Glass Half Full” eyes. If you are falling into that negative category, it is not too late to pull yourself out of it. Get that positive mindset that no matter what is going on in your life, you are going to find the silver lining. Find at least one positive thing about any situation and go from there. Each positive moment will build on itself, and pretty soon you will find that being positive becomes more natural. I challenge you today to “Be the Change you Wish to See in the World”(Mahatma Gandhi).
